New England Chowdafest 2018
The defining flavors of the New England coast, of course, are of the brine-sourced variety, and Chowdafest is a homerun opportunity to sample a varied swath of that gastronomic spectrum. Chowder takes center stage, but gets ample support from bisques and soups—plus, in playful (and tasty) detours, the Italian pastas, artisan breads, and salads of the “Ciao”dafest zone and the salsa-fied eats on offer at “ChowdaMex.”
With some 40 top-rated chefs and restaurants attending from all over New England, Chowdafest gives you the opportunity to vote for your favorite dishes amid five categories: Classic New England Clam Chowder, Traditional Chowders (Manhattan and Rhode Island), Creative Chowder, Soup/Bisque, and—in a brand-new addition to the festival—Vegetarian.
