The Greenwich Wine + Food Festival
The Greenwich Wine & Food Festival celebrates this region’s varied and dynamic foodshed, the leading lights of its food and beverage industry, and all-around epicurean bonhomie while raising money for charity.
Besides top chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and other high-profile culinary personalities, the festival also draws some major musical acts every year. Past performers have included everybody from Tim McGraw, Ziggy Marley, and Natasha Bedingfield to Alabama and Old Crow Medicine Show.
A smorgasbord of tastings, cooking demos and discussions, lawn games, and other fun round out the action at the Greenwich Wine + Food Festival, certainly one of the Gold Coast’s top “see-and-be-seen” soirees and definitely all-around awesomeness for those of the foodie persuasion.
Highlights of the 2019 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival
This year’s festival goes down in Greenwich’s Roger Sherman Baldwin Park Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st.
Among the culinary superstars attending the festival this year are Marc Murphy (of Benchmarc Restaurants and Chopped), Jess Tom (food novelist and Food Network Star winner), David Rose (celebrity chef and TV personality), Robin Selden (of Connecticut’s Marcia Selden Catering & Event Planning), and the chef/restaurateur/hospitality/etc. team of Margaret and Geoffrey Zakarian.
On the musical front, meanwhile, the 2019 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival will be featuring Little Big Town, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Kermit Ruffian & The Barbecue Swingers, and the Rebirth Brass Band.
