“VIP Treatment at Reasonable Rates”

I am a wedding coordinator and my most recent couple hosted their wedding in Stamford and decided to make this hotel their main accommodation. Since it’s a brand new hotel I was a little leery since there wasn't much feedback on the place, but we stopped in to see some rooms and the staff was lovely and very helpful. Their manager helped us coordinate complimentary gift bags with info for the town as well as all kinds of bonus gifts provided from Saks of Stamford.
During the big weekend, everyone was perfectly helpful. When the makeup and hair stylists needed taller chairs and extra towels, they were delivered almost immediately. The couple chartered a coach bus to shuttle the party back and forth, and the hotel made sure that there was space for it to wait. Every time I got on the elevator with a member of the staff, I was greeted with a big smile and asked how my stay was.
Most importantly - the beds were perfect. Soft but not too soft. Rooms were fresh and clean. And perhaps I was just exhausted but I found it to be a very quiet night's sleep. I know there were kids on my floor, but I didn't hear a peep in my room.
The only thing that was a bit difficult, was the parking situation. It's first come, first serve and the lot is fairly small, but there is a parking garage directly next door.
Basically, I couldn't have asked for a smoother stay and I have to thank Mia, Kelvin, and all the folks at Hotel Zero Degrees.

“Perfect from top to bottom!!”

On a recent East Coast trip, we decided to stay in Stamford for two reasons — first, to have easy access to New York City without actually having to stay there, and second, to attend a taping of The Jerry Springer Show. I found this hotel through a Google search, and could not have been happier with my experience. Location was great, just a block or two from the train station and right around the corner from the TV studio. Underground parking was free and convenient. The hotel was not crowded, making it easy to use the business center's internet access easy. Nice breakfast and free newspaper, too. Lobby is really nicely furnished. Our room was great, and included a huge bathroom and super comfortable bed. I travel at least once a month, and this is easily the nicest place I've stayed in all year.

“Gem boutique alternative to NYC hotels”

I was visiting NYU with my high school senior and wanted to avoid driving into NYC as well as the expense of in-city hotels. This hotel is incredibly conveniently located, brand new, with beautiful furnishings and beddings and outstanding service, as well as free WIFI, Starbucks coffee AND thick comfortable robes!! Short walking distance to great restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the train station for an easy train ride to Grand Central Station.

“Not one complaint about this hotel”

This hotel was intended for just an overnight stay while we look at houses in the Greenwich, CT area. LOVED this hotel. It used to be a YMCA, but they renovated it and remodeled it into the Hotel Zero Degrees Hotel. One you walk into the hotel, it is surprisingly very modern and tastefully decorated. My boyfriend and I even commented to each other that we would decorate our home because we loved the color scheme and the modern patterns through the hotel. The area is VERY convenient to many restaurants, 2 movie theaters, a nice mall w/ other great restaurants and popular stores, a Target, a Burlington Coat Factory, and lots of other shopping. Couldn't ask for a more pleasant stay...a comfortable, modern, SPOTLESSLY CLEAN room, great location and a very nice staff. We booked another overnight stay this weekend!
“Loved my stay at the hotel”

Stayed for one night in April in this hotel. I used to live in Stamford before. I was surprised to find this hotel in place of the old downtown YMCA. Booked this hotel for a weekend stay via the internet. My friends in Stamford were not even aware of this hotel when I booked it. Its brand new. Loved my stay there. The staff was very friendly. Location is in the heart of downtown with nice restaurants all around. Parking is free. Wi fi internet is free. What more can you expect.
I will definitely come back here if i need to book a hotel in Stamford. Highly recommended.

“Really nice space and super friendly staff!”

My wife and I discovered Zero Degrees through Priceline.com. We figured it would be a standard hotel and expected standard service. We were very pleasantly surprised. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Our 1-year-old was treated like visiting royalty. The room was very comfortable and clean. The free wi-fi was also very useful to me. No matter how small the need, the staff was very friendly and attentive. If you're staying in Stamford and want a high quality room in a modern hotel, this is your place.
“Extremely convenient and comfortable, I enjoyed the boutique feel in the city atmosphere”

This hotel is really starting to grow into its shell, the staff is accommodating and friendly and the rooms are pleasant and spacious. The location is wonderful if you plan on having dinner or enjoying the nightlife of Stamford while you in Town.
“Beautiful new hotel with great location”

Tried out this newly opened boutique type hotel. Booked through the hotel but they accepted the online (Expedia) rate. $111. It's located on the edge of Stamford's downtown district. Fabulous restaurants around the corner, high end shopping mall, movie theatre, very convenient. Does sit a bit on the seedy border... Stunning room - bathroom - lobby. Everything brand new and very pleasing. Wonderful bed. Some "new" hotel bumps - the parking was loosely organized. I got blocked in but the front desk attendant was so wonderful, he went down with me, we searched all around figured out what to do. The staff is a bit inexperienced but their effort is so over the top that it erases all small errors. It was a romantic, intimate little place. I highly recommend it and I hope that it does very well in the future. I would recommend that the owner offer a low introductory rate - through the winter even - to attract the crowd that likes places like this. It's a good "out of town" rendezvous.

I have stayed at your hotel several times now and each time I have received wonderful service. In fact I recommend your establishment to anyone who needs accommodations in Stamford. I do a great deal of business travel and appreciate your attention to detail.“

My stay was outstanding. What a beautiful urban chic hotel and so conveniently located. The staff was outstanding, they were pleasant and helpful.“

The room was, clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. I really liked the hotel and the idea of having something like Zero Degrees available in Stamford. I will certainly recommend Zero Degrees to people staying in the area. You should definitely promote more. None of our friends who live in the surrounding area even knew the hotel existed. But they do now!”

This hotel has it all! My husband and I were impressed with the coziness of our room. Two plush robes
were hanging from a hook in the bathroom and the provided toiletries were quite high-end. We enjoyed
reading in the sitting area and watching TV comfortably on the bed together. Hotel Zero Degrees was
the perfect retreat!
This hotel also offers free parking and a complimentary breakfast. It will not disappoint! The only
thing that we'd change (if we could) is the hotel's location. It's in an up-and-coming neighborhood
which was ultimately not a big deal for two City Slickers like us!

“Great Hotel in Stamford”

We recently stayed on Hotel Zero Degrees in Stamford while travelling for business. The hotel is new and is still a bit under the radar. We normally stay at the Stamford Marriott, but gave this hotel a try. I will never stay anywhere else in Stamford. The hotel was great. Clean, comfortable rooms. Coffee available 24/7. Free access to the YMCA next door. It is a modern boutique hotel and is styled accordingly. The price was very reasonable and offered free garage parking. They offer a very basic breakfast and do not have a bar, but there are several restaurants and bars within a block. Very good option for Stamford, which has limited options at best for hotels.

“A fantastic stay, comfortable, well appointed,
and clean”

I had a fantastic stay at your hotel. The service was excellent; I loved the lobby, the fruit and tea, and music - and great Lenovo computer! My room was very comfortable, well appointed, and clean. I hope to have the opportunity to return to Stamford and stay again.”

The night desk clerk was fantastic! He deserves special kudos for the help he gave us.
We received a call at 2:30AM that our daughter in Chicago was in labor. By 3:30AM we were in the lobby prepared to leave. The night manager got us coffee and bagels and generally facilitated our rushed departure. He opened the garage for us and wished us well. It was a real pleasure to receive that kind of service.

I enjoyed it and slept well. Got there at 11:40 pm and left at 8 am – so I was a perfect guest! Staff was great..Calvin signing me up and the front desk people at night and in the morning. All friendly.

Great hotel!! Glad I took the extra time to research what the overnight options looked like, especially since I've never been to Stamford. Someone suggested the Marriot since it was close to the office I was visiting and likely has high awareness, but was too expensive. The staff was extremely courteous and the location to the restaurants, etc was very close, right around the corner. Also, liked the fact that I could easily walk to the Amtrak to catch my train - wouldn't do that from the Marriot.

It was wonderfully to have a Major business Hotel follow up on their clients comfort.
To answer all your questions--YES, I had a wonderful stay even though it was too short.”

It was a nice visit and I will stay again at the hotel when the opportunity presents itself.
The staff was great and the access to the workout facility was great also.
“Clean, Trendy, and Comfortable”

We enjoyed our stay immensely.
1. The card requirement to go up/down in the elevator made us feel much safer.
2. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating on check in and checkout.
3. The room was clean, trendy and comfortable.
We'll definitely recommend the hotel to others
“Exceeded Our Expectations”

We loved our stay! The room was spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, clean, with a great bathroom. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rate was, actually, really good, especially considering that breakfast (and a very nice one) was included, and we loved the other free stuff (Internet access, parking, access to the YMCA pool). The location was also nice, close to many cool restaurants and bars, and the Thursday "music in the park" events, as well as a convenience store right around the corner.
We had a great stay, well exceeding our expectations, nothing to complain about, and would recommend the hotel to anyone in a heart beat.
We liked the art books available in the lounge!
“Made Me Feel at Home - Away From Home”

My stay at Hotel Zero Degrees was: perfect! The staff was truly attentive, warm, and friendly and it was a pleasure to stay at the hotel. I love the decor of the hotel, the room was cozy and the staff reached out to ask if I needed anything on several occasions. I will recommend Hotel Zero in the future. Thanks for making me feel at home — away from home.

Everything was fantastic! Kelvin at the front desk on Saturday was lovely and patient as we were all checking in, and extremely helpful with the gift bag situation. The guests were thrilled with the goodie bags. They were talking about how "fancy" it all seemed. I can't thank you enough for coordinating that. It was like the icing on the cake.
Please pass the word along to your entire staff, that it was a pleasure to stay at Hotel Zero Degrees. On the actual day of the wedding, the stylists needed chairs and towels, and my call to the front desk was answered so immediately that it caught me off guard. At times, I found myself in the elevator with other members of your staff and each time they greeted me with a big smile and asked me how my stay was. I honestly felt welcome and quite at home.
I'm planning to post those reviews on all the travel sites- I know to return the great favor you've done for us. I look forward to staying at your hotel in the future.
